Well, that’s a widebody conversion I never thought I’d see. I’m not sure how I feel about this.
Also, I wouldn’t touch it unless the turbo oil screens have been deleted.

Not really sure “1 of 1” can really be used here in the sense of what they are trying to mean

Way too much money. Were the turbos still issues on the C7.5? I know they were on the C7. A lot of people blew them (potentially due to the turbo screens you mention) and replaced with RS7 turbos. Fun car that should be pretty stout otherwise.

Buying a 3 year old high performance German for more than a brand new one? Brilliant!
Heck for 80 you can even upgrade to the “Prestige” package. Also the new one comes in the This very pretty green.

Yes, but it’s a V6. I mean, yeah, it’s as powerful as the C7's but the noises just aren’t the same.

C7.5 has a little more power, but mechanically it’s identical. It uses a revised version of the oil screens and check valves from the turbos (the check valves keep the turbos primed with oil after the engine is shut down, otherwise due to their position the oil would drain out).
This issue will potentially affect any 4.0T. There is even a TSB for 2018 Bentley Continental GT’s affected with the engine.
They’re high on my list for sure, but there are only three ways around the issue. Option 1, delete the screens entirely. O ption 2, use the JHM relocation kit to put the screens in a more accessible location so you don’t have to spend 10 hours of labor just to clean the screens out. I’d rather go for the former. I don’t know why Audi would use that screen with journal bearing turbos. It’s just begging to grenade them.
Option 3, skip RS7 snails and go for similarly sized ball-bearing turbos.

I briefly considered a C7 S6 for a bit, but opted against the cost and complication. It’s a huge performer, but even a regular old A7 is pretty stout with the 3.0T. It’s a great platform and a design that I think is aging very well.
